Children and Adolescent Tourette’s Disorder
Tourette’s disorder is a neuropsychiatric condition that is characterized by the appearance of tics that can be simple or complex in nature.
A tic is a sudden, rapid, recurrent, nonrhythmic, stereotyped motor movement or vocalization.
This research study is evaluating a study drug called aripiprazole. Aripiprazole is already approved for the treatment of Tourette's disorder in children and adolescents. This study will help researchers and physicians collect additional information about long-term maintenance use of the medication.
