Adult Insomnia

Adult Insomnia

The purpose of this research study is to find out how a new study drug can treat insomnia.  Insomnia is a common sleep problem. Many people have difficulty getting to sleep from time to time. However, when sleeping problems happen often, last a long time, cause distress or seriously affect how someone copes with daily life, it is called an "insomnia disorder".

The purpose of the study is to test the study drug for which dose is better than a placebo (no drug in it) in treating insomnia. The purpose is also to see if it is safe for people with insomnia. Because sleep changes with age, the study drug is being tested across all age groups (≥ 18 years) to see if it is safe and improves sleep. We are currently accepting patients age 65 and older.
